School Services - School Occupational Therapist - $50-60 per hour
Job Description
AHS Staffing is seeking a School Services School Occupational Therapist for a local contract job in Oswego, Illinois.
Qualifications
- Master's level or higher in Occupational Therapy
- IL OT license
- Previous experience (fieldwork counts) in pediatric and/or school based therapy
- Strong in sensory knowledge, organized, yet adaptable
- Ability to teach IEP/school based knowledge experience is preferred
- Experience in supervising and working in this area
Key Responsibilities
- Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans
- Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions in accordance with students' IEPs, helping them achieve academic and developmental goals
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students' unique needs
- Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodation or modifications
