School Psychology Adjunct Faculty, 2026-2027
The Morgridge College of Education is seeking adjunct instructors for the 2026-2027 academic year to teach graduate courses in the Teaching and Learning Sciences department and the School Psychology program. Courses may vary and more information can be found on the Registrar’s Office schedule of classes at this link. This posting serves for multiple openings throughout the academic year.
About the Role
This role involves teaching graduate level courses, collaborating with faculty course leads, creating and maintaining course Canvas containers, meeting with students as needed, responding to student communication in a timely manner, assigning papers, exams, and other deliverables, and grading in a timely manner. Regular communication with the faculty lead is essential, especially in cases where student-related issues arise.
Responsibilities
- Teach graduate level courses
- Collaborate with faculty course lead to adapt and deliver course
- Create and maintain course Canvas container
- Meet with students as needed
- Respond to student communication in a timely manner
- Assign papers, exams, and other deliverables as appropriate
- Grade in a timely manner
- Maintain regular communication with the faculty lead, particularly if a student-related issue arises
Requirements
- Masters or terminal degree (depending on the course)
- Teaching or clinic experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching experience in both birth-12 settings and higher education
- Experience with inclusive pedagogy and commitment to inclusion
- Experience using technology to facilitate adult learning
- Content expertise (depending on the course—e.g., assessment, counseling, etc.)

The course rate for this position is $1,290 per credit hour taught. The University of Denver provides a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, available market information, and course enrollment but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
