About the Role
Capture genuine smiles and priceless school memories. Use your personal vehicle to travel to local schools and support picture day. Paid to enjoy new scenery, meet new people, and occasional overnight stay (hotel + per diem paid). Transport, set up, and take down photography equipment at school locations for photo day events. Use photo software to organize and manage images. Build hands-on photography experience in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Capture school photo day events using provided photography equipment
- Travel to local schools in your reliable, insured vehicle (paid travel time and mileage reimbursement)
- Set up and take down photography equipment at school locations
- Organize and manage images using photo software
- Occasional overnight travel with hotel and per diem paid
- Maintain a cheerful, friendly personality, especially around children
- Work independently for smaller events after training
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (must be 18+)
- Reliable, insured vehicle and valid U.S. driver’s license (public transportation not permitted)
- Willingness to start early (driving start times as early as 4 AM) and work occasional extended hours when travel is involved
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of camera equipment
- Ability to store camera equipment in home when not in use
- Comfortable working in a school environment with children of all ages and abilities
- Strong communication, customer service, and tech skills
- Comfort working with computers, cameras, and ability to learn new programs
- Professional grooming and appearance that reflects Jostens’ standards
- Reliable cell phone and internet access
- Local requirement: May be required to complete additional background/health screenings as determined by state specific policies
Pay
$19.00–$20.00 per hour with overtime pay during peak weeks. Daily pay option available via DailyPay.
Schedule
Seasonal position running through November (with a chance to extend into December depending on event schedules). Average 30+ hours per week.
