About the role
The School Partnership Specialist plays a crucial role in fostering educational partnerships between schools and local businesses. This individual will work closely with educators, administrators, and community leaders to develop and implement programs that enhance student learning and career readiness.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with schools and businesses to promote educational opportunities and career pathways.
- Plan and execute workshops, seminars, and other events to engage students and provide them with practical skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to integrate industry-specific curricula and resources into the classroom.
- Assist in the recruitment and placement of students in internships and apprenticeships.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of partnership initiatives to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience working in education or business settings, preferably in a K-12 environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
