About the role

The School of Entrepreneurship at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) seeks experienced entrepreneurs and business professionals to serve as part-time lecturers. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in a business-related field, at least five years of professional experience, and a proven track record of success in entrepreneurship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, engaging courses in the undergraduate and graduate Entrepreneurship programs.
• Mentor and coach students in developing entrepreneurial skills and businesses.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance the curriculum and support student success.
• Engage in professional development activities and contribute to the school's initiatives.

Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited institution in a business-related field.
• At least five (5) years of professional experience in the business field.
• Experience starting, owning, and operating a successful business or significant experience supporting entrepreneurs.
• Active engagement in professional activities such as consulting, business banking, and executive education.
• Ability to teach at both the Palm Desert and San Bernardino campuses.

Pay

Lecturer A (Range 2): $5,507 – $6,677
Lecturer B (Range 3): $6,221 – $13,224
Lecturer C (Range 4): $6,825 – $14,523
Lecturer D (Range 5): $8,593 – $15,211

Schedule

Part-time lecturers are expected to teach 12-18 units per semester, typically scheduled during evenings and weekends to accommodate the needs of working students.
