School of Entrepreneurship - Part-time Lecturer Pool

About the role

The School of Entrepreneurship at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) seeks experienced entrepreneurs and business professionals to serve as part-time lecturers. These roles involve delivering high-quality, engaging courses in the university's globally ranked entrepreneurship programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs of the School of Entrepreneurship.
• Mentor and coach students studying entrepreneurship.
• Share knowledge and experience with a diverse student population.
• Engage in professional activities such as consulting, business banking, and executive education programs.
• Teach a variety of courses including but not limited to: Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, and Innovation Management.

Requirements

• A graduate degree from an accredited institution in the business field.
• A minimum of five (5) years of exempt status in the business field, with at least five (5) years of experience owning and operating a successful business or significant experience supporting entrepreneurs.
• Substantive professional experience and engagement in professional activities.
• Availability to teach at both the Palm Desert and San Bernardino campuses.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Substantial professional experience.
• Experience teaching at the university or community college level, particularly with diverse populations and first-generation students.
• Fit with the team and core values of the School of Entrepreneurship.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate diverse student populations.
• Experience in consulting, angel and venture capital investment, and business banking.

Benefits

Salary is commensurate with experience, ranging from $5,507 to $15,211 per month, depending on the lecturer's rank (Lecturer A to Lecturer D).

Pay

Lecturer A (Range 2): $5,507 – $6,677
Lecturer B (Range 3): $6,221 – $13,224
Lecturer C (Range 4): $6,825 – $14,523
Lecturer D (Range 5): $8,593 – $15,211
