About the role

The School of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) invites applications for the part-time lecturer pool in Computer Science and Computer Engineering at the Part-time Lecturer level. All areas of Computer Science and Computer Engineering will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of undergraduate courses in computer science domain and graduate courses in related areas of specialization.
• Provide service to the university and community.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a graduate degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field by the time of appointment.

Qualifications

• Commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse student population.
• Experience in ethnically diverse settings and/or commitment to serving diverse student populations.
• Potential for excellence in teaching, research and scholarly activities.
• Evidence of scholarly activity, publication, and innovation.
• Evidence of exemplary graduate-level teaching and leadership experience at program level.

• Ability to serve the School, College and University, as well as the community and the profession.

Benefits

Salary is commensurate with experience. (Actual Salary will be in accordance with percentage of time appointed)

• Lecturer A (Range 2) - $5,507 – $6,677
• Lecturer B (Range 3) - $6,221 – $13,224
• Lecturer C (Range 4) - $6,825 – $14,523
• Lecturer D (Range 5) - $8,593 – $15,211
