About the role
We are seeking a School Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services in a school setting.
Responsibilities
- Assessing student needs and developing individualized plans
- Collaborating with district staff using IEP systems
- Supporting students' academic and daily success
- Evaluating student needs, creating treatment plans, and working closely with educational teams to ensure student progress
Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active OT license in Alaska
- Initial certification through NBCOT is preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain results clearly
- Previous school experience is a plus
- Criminal background check completion is necessary
