School Occupational Therapist - Full-Time

About the role

Partner with school staff to support students' academic, self-care, play, and social skills.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and document student progress, collecting data and reporting findings.
• Deliver evidence-based direct and consultative therapy services tailored to individual needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and billing in compliance with district and state standards.
• Train and resource teachers and staff on strategies to enhance student participation and achievement.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with families and school personnel.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Active OT license in LA.
• PREFERRED: NBCOT certification, previous school experience, clear communication skills, and background check clearance.
