School Occupational Therapist - $48 per hour

About the role

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a local contract School Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract job in Lagrangeville, New York. The position offers a day shift schedule (7 hours, 35 hours per week) and starts ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services aligned with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
• Develop, implement, and track effective therapy plans
• Evaluate students, collect data, and monitor progress
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Work across multiple grade levels (some travel between schools may be required)
• Potentially supervise occupational therapy assistants

Requirements

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in New York (or eligible to obtain licensure)
• Passion for working with children and a creative, flexible approach
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Pay

Hourly rate: $44.75 – $48.20 per hour
Assignment bonus: $3,000 (conditions apply; ask recruiter for details)
