School Monitor (Grades: 6-8)

About the role

The primary responsibility of this position is to monitor student behavior and enforce school rules related to the student code of conduct. This includes resolving conflicts or confrontations between students, reporting disturbances to immediate supervisors, investigating complaints, disturbances, or violations, controlling traffic and parking on campus grounds, registering student vehicles, documenting incidents, and assisting law enforcement personnel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Resolve conflict or confrontation between students and report disturbances to immediate supervisor

• Register student vehicles and maintain accurate records of registration
• Document, record, and report vandalism and car accidents and prepare activity reports for theft
• Absorb directions or escort students, authorized visitors, disruptive individuals, or cargo to designated locations
