As a School Crossing Guard for Uintah County, you'll be the everyday hero ensuring our local students and families travel safely to and from school. It's the perfect gig for early risers, energetic retirees, or anyone looking to stay active, connect with local youth, and lend a helping hand—all in just two quick hours a day!

Schedule

Shift Times: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

School Year Schedule: Active only during the school year—enjoy your weekends, school holidays, and summer breaks completely off!

What You'll Do

• Take command of the crossing: safely guide excited kids and community members across busy intersections
• Be a mentor: teach young walkers and bikers essential road safety habits
• Be the eyes and ears: stay sharp, spot traffic patterns, and keep the neighborhood safe
• Stay connected: build great relationships with local families, school staff, and fellow county team members
