About the role
As a school crossing guard, you will help students cross the street safely at key locations, guide them through crosswalks, alert motorists to pedestrians, discourage unsafe behavior near traffic, and observe and report any safety hazards.
Responsibilities
- Help students cross the street safely at designated locations
- Guide students safely through crosswalks
- Alert motorists that pedestrians are using the school crossing
- Discourage students from behaving unsafely near traffic
- Observe and report any incidents that present a safety hazard
Requirements
- Pass a criminal history background check
- Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

7:00 AM – 8:00 AM and 2:15 PM – 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday.
