About the role
We are seeking applicants to monitor and control the pedestrian traffic around our schools to assist with the safe crossing of our students.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control pedestrian traffic around schools
- Assist with the safe crossing of students
- Remind drivers of the presence of pedestrians
- Assemble children at the curb
- Ensure there is an adequate gap in the traffic pattern prior to entering the crosswalk
- Stop traffic from proceeding
Schedule
Part-time, approximately 15 hours per week.
