School Crossing Guard

Nephi City and the Nephi Police Department are seeking dependable, safety-minded individuals to serve as Part-Time School Crossing Guards at Nebo View Elementary and Red Cliffs Elementary Schools. Crossing guards play an important role in helping students safely cross streets before and after school while promoting pedestrian safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in safely crossing streets before and after school
• Promote pedestrian safety
• Work independently in various weather conditions
• Maintain calm and exercise good judgment in traffic situations

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to stand outdoors in various weather conditions
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Good communication and observation skills
• Must successfully pass a background check

Pay

$24.00 per hour
