School Bus Driver - Full-Time

Role: Bus Driver responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation for students. Key Responsibilities Conduct daily bus checks, fueling, oil level, and interior cleaning, including during field trips.Warm up buses prior to driving and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting reports online.Maintain order and discipline among student passengers, ensuring only students and authorized supervisors are onboard.Use bus radios appropriately for school-related communication.Prepare and maintain necessary records as per legal and board policies.Perform emergency evacuations and demonstrate emergency procedures regularly.Report injuries, damages, safety hazards, and accidents promptly through written reports.Attend mandatory meetings as scheduled. Qualifications And Skills High School diploma required.Valid CDL license with B, P, S, and air brakes endorsements, renewed before expiration.Annual DOT/Michigan Department of Education physical exam.Successful drug test and a good driving record.Completion of required school bus driver training and advanced classes.
