School Bus Driver - Full-Time

Role: Bus Driver responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation for students. Key Responsibilities Perform daily bus maintenance, including fueling, oil checks, and cleaning, especially before and after field trips.Warm up buses prior to driving and conduct pre-trip inspections using provided tablets, completing reports online.Maintain order and discipline on the bus, adhering to school guidelines, and managing noise and distractions.Ensure only students or designated trip supervisors are present onboard, complying with legal and insurance regulations.Conduct post-trip inspections for left items, damages, and secure windows.Use bus radios appropriately for school business and maintain required records.Be prepared for emergency evacuations, demonstrating proper procedures to the Director of Transportation.Report injuries, damages, safety hazards, and accidents immediately in writing.Attend mandatory meetings and follow all safety protocols, including emergency procedures. Qualifications High school diploma required.Annual physical exam and valid CDL license with B, P, S, and air brakes endorsements.Successful completion of required driver training and advanced bus driving classes.Good driving record and pass drug testing mandated by authorities.
