School Bus Driver - Full-Time

Position: School Bus Driver Role & Responsibilities Transport students: Safely drive students to and from school and activities, following safety procedures and traffic regulations.Maintain safety & communication: Enforce bus rules, address behavioral issues, and communicate with students and parents effectively.Assist passengers: Help students board and unload, including those with wheelchair or adaptive needs.Vehicle inspection & maintenance: Conduct daily bus inspections, perform basic maintenance tasks, and report deficiencies.Compliance: Follow all Federal, State, and District rules and laws concerning school bus operation. Qualifications & Skills Ability to obtain a Class B CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements, with a clean driving record.Compliance with FMCSA regulations and possession of US DOT Medical Examiners Certificate.First Aid/CPR certification preferred or required.Strong interpersonal communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and team members.Ability to work in various weather and traffic conditions.
