Job Description
The primary responsibility of a School Bus Driver is to transport students safely and efficiently between their homes and schools. This includes adhering to a strict schedule, ensuring the bus is clean and safe, and supervising students during the ride.
- Adhere to a strict schedule and route map provided by the school district.
- Ensure the bus is clean, safe, and in good working order before each trip.
- Supervise students on the bus to ensure they remain seated and follow safety rules.
- Communicate effectively with other drivers and school staff regarding any issues or concerns.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines set forth by the school district and the transportation department.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and experience operating a school bus. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
