Machine Operator

Summary

The Molding Machine Operator's primary responsibility is to ensure parts meet customer requirements as per the Quality Control Standards. Other duties may be assigned by management or supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Make sure parts fall from mold/cycle the gate.
• Perform secondary operations to meet customer requirements (as per QC Standard).
• Follow operator instruction sheet.
• Bar code parts.
• Pack parts (as per packaging instruction).
• Think safety first. Report non-conforming parts to supervisor immediately.
• Sign Operator Instruction Verification Sign-Off Sheet.
• Ensure production requirements are met on a shift basis.
• Conduct general housekeeping and organize workstation.
• Record and plot scrap.
• Maintain production boards hourly.
• Complete any and all tasks or assignments as requested by management or supervisor.
• Maintain compliance with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001.
• Follow safety, housekeeping, and company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate and perform other related duties as required.
