School-Based Physical Therapist - $56 per hour

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a local contract School Physical Therapist for a position in Portage, Michigan. The role is a local contract with an ASAP start date, 13‑week duration (also noted as 38‑week contracts in the contract details), 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational and therapy programs based on evaluation results.
• Evaluate students to identify needs and determine eligibility for therapy services.
• Collect therapy data, maintain accurate student records, and monitor progress toward student goals.
• Work collaboratively and communicate with the school interdisciplinary team and student guardians.
• May be asked to travel between school locations.
• May be asked to supervise assistants.

Requirements

• Current Michigan Physical Therapist License.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting is preferred but not required.
