School Age Childcare Site Directors – Before & After School
About the role
The Site Director is the heart of a Healthy Kids Programs location. You'll lead the daily operations of the site by creating a safe, engaging program that children love and families trust. You'll support and coach your team, build strong relationships with families and school partners, and ensure the program meets Healthy Kids Programs' quality standards and all licensing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Loves working with children and helping them learn through play and positive experiences
- Bridges the gap between parents and schools by communicating effectively with families
- Supports and coaches the team, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to succeed
- Ensures the program adheres to Healthy Kids Programs’ quality standards and all licensing requirements
- Works closely with school partners to maintain a positive relationship and provide a seamless experience for students and families
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or youth program setting
- Some experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred
- Familiarity with before- and after-school program environments a plus
- Knowledge of state childcare licensing or school-age care regulations helpful but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or early childhood coursework preferred

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule
Morning Program hours vary between 6:45 - 8:15 am
Afternoon Program hours vary between 2:45 - 6:00 pm
