School Age Child Care Site Lead

About the role

The Wyoming County YMCA is seeking a site lead for their after school program at Letchworth Elementary School. The site lead supervises staff, plans and delivers activities, builds relationships with staff, students, parents, and OCFS licensors, and implements all OCFS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff
• Plan and deliver activities
• Build relationships with staff, students, parents, and OCFS licensors
• Implement OCFS regulations
• Work Monday through Friday from 1:45-6:00
• Count in ratio with other staff at the site

Requirements

• Supervisory experience
• A love for elementary aged children
• Be creative
• Want to make a difference in the lives of participants
• Some educational experience with PreK aged children is a plus

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older

Skills

• Ability to supervise staff
• Ability to plan and deliver activities
• Ability to build relationships
• Knowledge of OCFS regulations

Positions to start at the beginning of September and run until the end of June. There is the possibility of working summer programming if interested.
