School Age Care Child Care Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities / Job Duties

• Plan and oversee daily Fun & Friends programming, including enrichment activities and recreational play.
• Maintain a structured yet flexible environment that meets the needs of all children.
• Create consistent routines, including attendance tracking and sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging program culture.
• Supervise, support, and manage Fun & Friends staff.
• Support positive child development and foster social-emotional growth.
• Implement positive behavior strategies aligned with Fun & Friends expectations.
• Document and address behavior concerns appropriately.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with families on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and administration to support student success.
• Ensure program compliance with Minnesota childcare licensing requirements and district policies.
• Manage program supplies, snacks, and materials.
• Follow and implement safety procedures, including emergency preparedness and drills.

Qualifications

• Achieve an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred).
• Gain relevant work experience in a childcare or school setting.
• Develop supervisory or leadership experience.
• Show strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Show knowledge of child development and positive behavior support strategies.
• Obtain CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
