Scheme Manager, AD WARRIOR

Salary: £19,232.81 per annum

About the role
Are you passionate about helping people live independently in a safe and supportive environment? At the organisation, they’re looking for a proactive and caring individual to join us at Norfolk House, a welcoming retirement living scheme in Leominster. As their Scheme Manager, you’ll be the friendly face of the scheme, supporting the Delivery Manager with day-to-day operations and ensuring their residents feel safe, supported, and empowered to live independently.
You’ll take ownership of essential safety checks, including health & safety, fire safety, and the warden call system, making sure they meet compliance standards and deliver consistently high levels of service. Your keen eye for detail and proactive approach will help you identify and manage risks, including safeguarding concerns, and you’ll be confident in taking appropriate action to ensure residents’ wellbeing is always prioritised.
Responsibilities
- Support the Delivery Manager with day-to-day operations of the retirement living scheme.
- Conduct essential safety checks, including health & safety, fire safety, and the warden call system.
- Ensure compliance with standards and deliver high levels of service.
- Identify and manage risks, including safeguarding concerns.
- Take appropriate action to prioritise residents’ wellbeing.
- Resolve feedback and complaints, delivering excellent customer service.
- Work collaboratively with residents, colleagues, contractors, and external agencies.
- Maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
Requirements
- Experience in housing or customer-facing roles.
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office) and a willingness to learn new systems.
- Excellent record-keeping and attention to detail.
- Self-starter with great organisational skills and a passion for helping others.
- Clear communicator who works well with diverse groups.
- Practical problem-solver who delivers high-quality work.
Qualifications & Checks
- Satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (if applicable).
- Satisfactory references.
- Valid Right to Work document.
- May require specific qualifications, skills, knowledge, and behaviours to meet the Competence and Conduct Standard for Social Housing.
- If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification.
