About the Role
This position maintains physician, patient, providers, and staff scheduling systems to ensure efficient scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Initiates and maintains clinical, non-clinical, and surgical electronic schedules for physicians and patients.
- Coordinates with clinical supervisors to optimize scheduling system utility.
- Develops new functions and innovative uses of the system, installs system upgrades, and provides current manuals and training to users.
- Generates reports and master schedules for physicians, providers, patients, and staff, assisting with data analysis as needed.
- Coordinates scheduling with billing IDX dictionaries, acting as liaison with clinical and billing supervisors.
- Troubleshoots system issues for all users and conducts audits to maintain effective use of systems.
- Participates in department and university meetings to ensure the scheduling system meets established needs and objectives.
- May supervise assigned staff.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent certification, or a combination of education and/or experience.
- 3 years of medical office scheduling experience.
Skills
- Computer systems proficiency.

Pay
Salary range: $19.29 - $29.91 per hour. The salary range reflects base salaries for positions in this job grade across the university. Individual rates will be determined by qualifications, performance, equity, market rates, and department budget.
