Scheduling Excellence Manager
How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Provides enterprise leadership for advancing scheduling strategy, standards, and performance across Ascension.
- Responsible for overseeing the implementation/ sustainment of scheduling best practices, and partnering with operational and clinical leaders to ensure alignment with staffing targets, labor budgets, and patient care needs.
- Led initiatives that strengthen schedule integrity, reduce premium labor, and promote equitable and transparent scheduling processes.
- Provides oversight of scheduling governance, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives to advance Scheduling Excellence across ministries.
- Works with market schedulers to improve schedule quality, timeliness, accuracy and completeness and ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met in these areas.

Qualifications
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Healthcare industry background 3+ years of experience in scheduling operations, workforce management, or staff coordination.
- Experience with an enterprise scheduling platform (such as UKG) preferred.
