Location: Norwich, Kansas Employment Type: Full-Time, Hourly/Non-Exempt Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Fridays as needed based on operational needs Reports To: Production Control Compensation: $18/hour, increases with experience Position Summary The Scheduling and Data Coordinator maintains accurate production data, develops and updates production schedules, coordinates information across departments, and supports production, shipping, and delivery objectives. Essential Job Functions Scheduling and Data Coordinator Ensure production data is entered in a timely, accurate, and complete mannerDevelop, maintain, and update daily production schedulesMonitor production progress and proactively adjust schedules to meet delivery commitmentsCoordinate with cross-functional departments, including the Pattern Shop, Shipping, Quality, Customer Service, and other operational teams, to promote efficient workflow and clear communicationConduct monthly inventory cycle counts to support inventory accuracyOther duties as assigned Shipping and Logistics Support Coordinate and schedule truck pickups, deliveries, and loadsEnsure products are ready for scheduled shipments and verify quantities, part numbers, weights, and other shipment information is accurateWeigh boxes, containers, pallets, and other materials and maintain accurate shipping information and documentationAssist with loading and unloading trucks using appropriate equipment and safety procedures Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalentProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and OutlookStrong skills in organization, communication, and time-management, with attention to detailAbility to perform hands-on shipping duties, including weighing materials and assisting with loading and unloading trucksAbility to safely operate or learn to operate applicable material-handling equipment, such as a forklift or pallet jackAbility to follow established procedures and safety requirements Preferred Qualifications Experience in production scheduling, production control, shipping, logistics, inventory control, data entry, or manufacturingExperience with SyteLine or another ERP systemExperience coordinating freight, carriers, or logistics Work Environment and Physical Requirements Primarily office-based with regular interaction in manufacturing, shipping, warehouse, and operational areasWork may occur in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, and outdoor environmentsAbility to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, carry, push, and pull as necessary to perform essential functionsAbility to handle boxes, packages, pallets, and shipping materials and assist with loading and unloading trucksMust follow all required PPE and safety procedures Equal Employment Opportunity Farrar Corporation is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, or local laws.
