$20.00 - $26.00 per hour. Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Create exceptional first impressions by welcoming new patients with warmth and enthusiasm.
  • Schedule patient appointments using appropriate templates.
  • Confirm appointment reminders are sent out and follow up with unconfirmed appointments.
  • Ensure the schedule accounts for appropriate doctor time and fills openings as necessary.
  • Discuss major changes with the clinical team.
  • Generate correspondence for referring dentists and maintain detailed patient records.
  • Support the Insurance Coordinator by confirming patient eligibility and coverage, obtaining detailed benefit breakdowns, and explaining financial responsibilities to patients and families.
  • Process insurance claims efficiently, following up on outstanding claims, resolving denials or discrepancies, and ensuring timely reimbursement.

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of dental or orthodontic office experience preferred.
  • Experience working in an orthodontic or general dental clinic is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; proficiency with orthodontic management software systems is an asset.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written), with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members, and the community.
  • Keen attention-to-detail and time management skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
