About the role

Tandem Care is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to help keep their Targeted Care and On Demand services running smoothly. Every day is different, involving a variety of tasks such as coordinating caregiver schedules, processing same-day care requests, responding to phone calls and messages, managing call-outs, and supporting operations.

Responsibilities

  • Cook up and adjust caregiver schedules throughout the day
  • Handle same-day schedule changes and new care requests
  • Answer and respond to caregiver and client phone calls, texts, and Teams messages
  • Manage caregiver call-outs and secure replacement coverage
  • Monitor caregiver arrivals and visit check-ins
  • Serve as backup for the Scheduling Manager during PTO and days off
  • Update payroll time records based on verified visit information
  • Maintain accurate documentation in our CRM
  • Collaborate closely with Care Coordinators and the Operations team to ensure seamless service

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in home care scheduling, healthcare operations, staffing, dispatch, or a similar fast-paced operations environment
  • Experience coordinating schedules and handling time-sensitive issues
  • Strong customer service and phone communication skills
  • Comfort working with multiple software platforms simultaneously
  • Previous remote work experience is a plus
  • Experience with CRM and scheduling software is preferred

Pay

$40,000 - $50,000 annually
