Role and Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with patients, referring offices, and team members in person, over the phone, or electronically.
  • Greet patients and visitors warmly upon arrival.
  • Answer calls promptly with professionalism.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently to maximize patient satisfaction, provider time, and room utilization.
  • Prepare daily schedules and patient charts.
  • Manage patient flow to minimize wait times.
  • Assist patients as needed and maintain a neat reception area.
  • Foster professional relationships with referring offices and ensure confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of customer service experience.
  • Understanding of dental terminology preferred.
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with good organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and basic office skills such as typing and filing.
