Role and Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with patients, referring offices, and team members in person, over the phone, or electronically.
- Greet patients and visitors warmly upon arrival.
- Answer calls promptly with professionalism.
- Schedule appointments efficiently to maximize patient satisfaction, provider time, and room utilization.
- Prepare daily schedules and patient charts.
- Manage patient flow to minimize wait times.
- Assist patients as needed and maintain a neat reception area.
- Foster professional relationships with referring offices and ensure confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of customer service experience.
- Understanding of dental terminology preferred.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with good organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and basic office skills such as typing and filing.
