Scheduler (QMA)

About the Role

The Nursing Scheduler Coordinator is a key team member responsible for ensuring appropriate staffing levels are met at all times. This role coordinates with the Executive Director and the Director of Nursing to advise and communicate staffing schedules and needs, ensuring compliance with budgetary, State, and Federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Create staffing schedules that ensure the provision of quality nursing care.
• Collaborate with leadership to maintain appropriate staffing levels and communicate scheduling needs.
• Ensure compliance with budgetary, State, and Federal guidelines.
• Foster a supportive and engaging atmosphere for residents and team members.
• Work toward the common goal of excellent resident care through teamwork and interpersonal communication.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts quickly, equitably, and courteously.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a state-approved training program in medication administration.
• Indiana QMA license.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
