What You Will Do

  • Review the plans and specifications to become knowledgeable of project scope.
  • Review contract language to become knowledgeable of project controls-related requirements.
  • Develop the project schedule in coordination with project team and subcontractors; collect data for schedule activities, logic, activity durations, costs and labor resource requirements.
  • Maintain and update project schedules, including monitoring and recording performance of on-site construction activities and engineering, preconstruction, and procurement activities.
  • Prepare updates and scheduled reports in accordance with the specifications. Ensure reports are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Identify and document adjustments to the project schedule due to changes in scope, activities, duration, and/or logic.
  • Support the invoicing process by preparing monthly schedule reports.
  • Track and document all potential changes impacting the project.
  • Generate schedule “fragnets” and time impact analyses (TIA).
  • Perform additional project controls-related tasks as needed.

Working Conditions

  • Full time, on project site.
  • Must have the ability to crawl, climb, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, crouch, stand for long periods of time, lift and hold in excess of 50 lbs, talk, hear, and occasionally sit.
  • Subject to hot, cold, humid, and wet conditions depending on location.

  • General knowledge of commercial and/or Government construction contracting methods and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability using Primavera (P6) software and understanding of critical path method (CPM).
  • Professional communication with Client representatives, project team members, and multinational employees.

Education / Experience

  • Minimum high school diploma/GED.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering preferred.
  • Project controls experience on at least two previous projects of comparable scope and of a value no less than half of the proposed assignment.
  • Prior Data Center/Mission Critical experience is required.
