About the role

Join the team as a Scheduler Pre-Registrar. In this role, you will receive phone calls and fax requests to schedule patients for outpatient tests, complete pre-registration of scheduled patients, and ensure a valid provider order is obtained.

Responsibilities

• Receive phone calls and fax requests to schedule patients for outpatient tests.
• Complete pre-registration of scheduled patients.
• Ensure a valid provider order is obtained.

Requirements

• 1 year of previous Patient Scheduling or Patient Access experience preferred.
• Office experience in a healthcare environment, familiarity with medical terminology, and knowledge of CPT/ICD-9 codes preferred.
• Ability to multitask.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary work—prolonged periods of sitting.
• Exert up to 10 lbs of force occasionally.
