• Robbinsdale Hospital, established in 1954, is a 385-bed facility recognized as the top Level 1 Trauma center for 25 years and a Level II pediatric trauma center.
• Maple Grove Hospital, established in 2009, is a 134-bed facility recognized as a top hospital in the state for Women and Children Care, with a Level III NICU and the largest Family Birth Center in the state (5,000 deliveries per year and over 60,000 babies delivered).

About This Position

The Scheduler assists with various functions related to the efficient operation of registration and scheduling for various sites/departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduling and registration tasks in a hospital, clinic, or physician’s office setting.
• Utilize computerized scheduling systems, including Epic.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Operate PCs and keyboards efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Multi-task effectively.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent (e.g., GED) required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Previous scheduling and/or registration experience in a hospital, clinic, or physician’s office preferred.
• Knowledge of computerized scheduling systems, particularly Epic, preferred.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient PC and keyboarding skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

Salary Range: B10 ($19.07 - $27.44), based on experience. Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.

Schedule

• Hours per two-week pay period: 80.
• Shift: Days, 8 hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday).
• Weekend Requirement: None.
• Call Requirement: None.
• Primary location: Robbinsdale. Must be willing to float to other locations as needed (Monticello, Minnetonka, Blaine, and Maple Grove).
• Remote or On-site: On-site.
