Scheduler/Cost Controller
About the role
Support project planning and control activities through scheduling, cost tracking, forecasting, and progress reporting for multiple projects and programs.
Develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules, including look-ahead planning, activity sequencing, and critical path tracking.
Monitor project budgets, expenditures, commitments, and forecasts to help ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
Prepare regular and ad-hoc project reports, including cost analysis, variance reporting, trend analysis, and earned value management (EVM) updates.
Assist with maintaining project control systems, databases, change management logs, and progress measurement documentation.
Work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to reconcile financial and performance data and support project decision-making.
Analyze schedule and cost performance against project baselines and help identify risks, delays, and opportunities for improvement.
Support compliance with company policies, procedures, project controls standards, and reporting requirements.
Provide guidance and coordination support related to scheduling and cost control processes, tools, and best practices.
Assist with accounting and financial administration activities, including cost allocations, accruals, and journal entry support when required.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Controlling and 4 years of experience in Construction Project Scheduling required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- CAPM or PMI-SP Certificate or equivalent
- SAP and Primavera experience required
- MS Project experience required
Pay
Salary Range for Role: $100,000 to $120,000
Compensation at PTAG varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
