About the Role
Join Brookdale at Home as a Private Duty Caregiver and help seniors with one-on-one assignments. Most of Brookdale’s Private Duty Agency offices are located within a Brookdale Senior Living Community. This role offers flexible scheduling and same-day interviews may be available.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one companionship
- Assist with non-medical hands-on care, including dressing, bathing, grooming, personal care, and transfers
- Perform housekeeping and laundry duties
- Care for pets
- Provide transportation to doctor’s appointments and other errands
- Give medication reminders
- Encourage independence and treat seniors with respect and dignity
- Assist with activities of daily living and maintain a nurturing, home-like setting
- Help with vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and dishes
Qualifications

Temporary associates are not benefits-eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program. Brookdale also supports associates in their journey to U.S. citizenship by advancing fees for naturalization (Form N-400) application costs, up to $725 (less applicable taxes and withholding), for qualified associates who have been with the company for at least a year.
Pay
Base pay is in range and will be determined by the applicant’s skills and experience.
