About the Role
Beck is looking for a qualified Scheduler to join an extraordinary team. This position will assist project teams with planning, schedule development, and maintenance of project schedules from preconstruction through final completion. The role will focus primarily on projects in the Atlanta region and may remotely assist project teams located in other regions.
You will be responsible for regularly visiting job sites, meeting with stakeholders, and developing relationships with project team members and subcontractors to gain an accurate understanding of the project's status and determine if schedule adaptations are needed.
Responsibilities
- Providing and overseeing scheduling for construction projects
- Reporting on scheduling and job progress
- Aid in project risk mitigation analysis
- Obtain input from project team members, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to support the development of baseline schedules
Requirements
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field experience
- 5 years of construction scheduling experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Experience with P6
- Interest in the integrated project delivery method and innovation in process improvement and technology
Physical Demands
- Frequently operates a computer and other office equipment
- Constantly communicates with project team and related parties
- Ability to maintain best practices related to project planning and scheduling
- Ability to adhere to consistent attendance
- May require occasional travel or colocation
- Walking job sites will be required
- Ability to carry large plans or boxes in excess of 10 lbs
