About the role
The Wellness Coordinator is responsible for managing the Resident Care Department schedule, specifically shifts and assignments for Resident Care Associates. The Wellness Coordinator will also be assigned caregiving shifts as needed to provide coverage or support.
- Manage call outs, time off requests and other issues with the schedule, finding appropriate coverage per state requirements and community guidelines
- Provide RCA coverage as needed if openings in the schedule cannot be filled
- Spend quality time with seniors and provide direct personal care
- Join or lead fun activities of your choice with the residents
- Track care and other tasks with our easy-to-use electronic health record system
- Assist the housekeeping team with light housekeeping services
- Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services, as needed
Requirements
- Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)
- Physical requirements: Standing, sitting, bending, and transferring residents (with and without assistance)
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
- Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities
Pay & Benefits
Rates start at $23-$25 per hour, based on work experience.
