Responsibilities
- Cook up scheduling of customer orders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Prepare and process job packets and print layouts for the operators.
- Saving all complete layouts.
- Printing the Shop Schedules and labels.
- Closely coordinate with Production, Sales, and Quality teams to resolve order discrepancies and support accurate fulfillment.
- Provide responsive, professional customer service and follow through on outstanding orders or issues.
- Utilize ERP systems (such as Oracle or PowerCerv) for data entry, order processing, and invoicing.
- Maintain accurate, organized records.
- Respond promptly to emails, calls, and internal communications.
- Support a respectful and inclusive work environment, free of harassment and discrimination.
- Adhere to company safety policies and participate in maintaining a safe working environment.
- Perform additional scheduling and other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in scheduling, shipping, logistics coordination, or related administrative roles.
- Experience in manufacturing or metal processing environments is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Experience with ERP systems; Oracle experience strongly preferred.
- Strong data entry skills and familiarity with logistics documentation.
- Ability to perform unit and measurement conversions and calculations accurately.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
