About the role
Schedules customer orders and forecasted demand to production equipment in an efficient and timely manner to meet customer requirements and maintain inventory levels. Must understand specifications, interpret production schedules, and deal with inventory transactions that result in adjustments, receipts, consumptions, and/or transfers.
Responsibilities
- Receives orders for product and schedules production to meet customer order requirements, ensuring knowledge of production capabilities, inventory, and target dates to produce product efficiently.
- Provides specification sheets and identification labels for products produced.
- Maintains accurate inventory records and monitors to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Maintains system knowledge to properly support inventory evaluations, adjustments, and general transactions.
- Assists with other administrative tasks to support operations.
- Performs related tasks as requested by supervisor.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree in a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience in production and inventory control or planning strongly required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Work environment is primarily office with some exposure to manufacturing areas as needed to perform job responsibilities.
