SCDN Lab Coordinator
About the role
The Social Cognitive Developmental Neuroscience (SCDN) Lab at UC Riverside uses electrophysiology (EEG) and behavioral measures to better understand the brain and behavioral basis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We have multiple active research projects for children and adolescents between the ages of 6 months and 17 years. Under the direct supervision of the PI of the SCDN Lab, the Lab Coordinator in the School of Education (SOE) will perform duties that include but are not limited to, recruitment and retention efforts for SCDN Lab research projects, maintaining participant files, data entry and organization, scheduling study sessions, completing eligibility phone calls, answering emails, and training undergraduate volunteers in these tasks.

Requirements
- Experience working with a diverse population, and sensitivity to culture, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation and socio-economic status.
- Ability to maintain cooperative relationships with community contacts.
- Ability to research and analyze information to formulate/implement solutions for improvement.
- Demonstrated skill in accurate record keeping with strict attention to detail.
- Organizing tasks, documents and materials with efficiency and accuracy.
- Demonstrated skill in communicating effectively and professionally using tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to interact diplomatically with the public in a high volume, continuous public contact setting.
- Ability to organize multiple tasks with minimal support, and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position.
- Experience in working with children and/or adolescents with developmental disabilities and their families.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
