Lab Coordinator
About the role
The Department of Ecosystem Science and Management in the College of Agricultural Sciences is hiring a Lab Coordinator. The Lab Coordinator will oversee daily operations of the Lieurance Invasion Ecology laboratory, maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant environment that supports the research productivity of the Principal Investigator (PI), graduate students, undergraduate researchers, and visiting collaborators. The position integrates laboratory stewardship, regulatory compliance, administrative coordination, and personnel training to advance the lab's research mission.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant laboratory environment
- Support the research productivity of the PI, graduate students, undergraduate researchers, and visiting collaborators
- Integrate laboratory stewardship, regulatory compliance, administrative coordination, and personnel training
- Advocate for the lab's research mission
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Relevant Work Experience: 1+ years
- Required Certifications: None

- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain a safe and compliant laboratory environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Pay
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $44,628.00 - $64,668.00.

This position is funded for 1 year(s); continuation past 1 year(s) will be based on university need, performance, and/or availability of funding.
