SCCM Engineer

Responsibilities

• Use SCCM and Intune as the primary deployment tools for patch management across Windows servers, workstations, and laptops.
• Review vulnerability alerts, then deploy updates and packages to remediate them.
• Deploy updates, scripts, and third-party application fixes.
• Address vulnerabilities identified via Tenable.
• Reach out to system owners to coordinate patching and remediation.
• Maintain compliance across corporate systems.
• Use scripting (PowerShell preferred) when necessary for automation and custom deployment.
• Support remediation of thousands of open vulnerabilities.

Job Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with MECM/SCCM is a mandatory requirement.
• Hands-on experience with Intune is a requirement.
• Experience with Rapid7 is a huge plus.
• Comfortable with packaging, scripting, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in enterprise environments with large-scale patching.
• Powershell (or automation scripting) experience is preferred.

About the Role

We are seeking an SCCM Engineer to assist with an integration project for our client in Downtown Houston. This person is primarily responsible for deploying updates and patches in support of an enterprise-level merger between two nationwide power generation companies.
