Position Description

The Scatterbomb Director helps lead and support the campus improvisational group by recruiting students, organizing and leading weekly practices, and overseeing performances and travel. The role includes mentoring students, coordinating trip logistics, representing the program professionally, and collaborating with the Student Engagement team.

Job Responsibilities

• Affords marketing outreach, identifies, and recruits potential students.
• Provides leadership to the improvisational group of students on campus.
• Affords assistance with, prepares, and holds, weekly practices during the semester.
• Affords assistance with the planning of trips, meals and logistics of itineraries and events.
• Attends scheduled Student Engagement meetings when available.
• Maintains a professional relationship with students, faculty and administrators.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in theater, communications, education, or a related field required.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel, work nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Experience with event planning, travel coordination, and logistics.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced environment.
