About the role

Ticket Scanners are responsible for ensuring every ticket or season pass is validated each time the guest rides the lift. This involves engaging with and providing a first-class mountain adventure for each and every guest, communicating clearly and making split second decisions to ensure proper ticket validation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure RFID gate reads guests passes
• Assist with the orchestration, set up, and breakdown of maze
• Open and close pinch points as needed for maximum traffic flow
• Be aware of all ticket types and prices
• Assist and respond to guest inquiries
• Must have current information about the mountain and events
• Ability to troubleshoot RFID gates and tablet equipment
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 14 years of age or older
• Able to work outside for long periods of time in inclement weather
• Reliable transportation to/from work
• Must be able to work in high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Able to communicate and problem solve independently
• Must be comfortable working with electronic equipment
• Ability to lift 50lbs on a consistent basis
• Actively pursuing a High School Diploma, or equivalent
• Previous customer service experience, preferred

Pay & Schedule

• Seasonal position with part-time opportunities
• Paid at $20.00/hr
• Recruitment for this role will be ongoing through December
• This position may be required to work weekends and holidays
