SCA Project Manager Intern - OVIP
About the role
The Oracle Veteran Internship Program (OVIP) is designed to aid military veterans and active-duty Military Spouses new to the corporate sector in their transition to a career in the private or public sector. Interns will engage in on-the-job training and professional development in various fields including information technology, technical/systems consulting, technical support, facilities, finance, human resources, logistics, marketing, sales, and customer support.
Responsibilities
- Support a team of Product Managers that acts as the central resource and driving force for the conception, design, launch, and go-to-market of government-focused cloud products.
- Gain an understanding of US governments’ state and local, civilian, defense, and intelligence community customers, market, and competition to drive product adoption.
- Support product definition from vision to roadmap and detailed product requirements.
- Influence engineering teams to invest and iterate on the features the government market requires.
- Run effective pilot programs and collect continuous customer feedback.
- Create field enablement materials (blogs, presentations) to explain how to integrate OCI services into customer architectures.
- Partner with sales and marketing to deliver high-quality product collateral and ensure customer satisfaction with our cloud products.
- Leverage marketing and sales organizations to maximize product adoption.
Qualifications
- Understanding of cloud platform technologies and how to apply them to real-world problems.
- Experience as a project manager, or in a technical leadership role, with a cloud platform technology provider.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience building value propositions, messaging, and guidance for customers, users, and other stakeholders.
Benefits
- Hourly wage is $30 per hour.
- This is a 40 hour per week position.
Pay
Hiring Range in USD from $19.09 - $36.35 per hour; from: $39,700 - $75,600 per year.
