About the role

The Oracle Veteran Internship Program (OVIP) is designed to aid military veterans, transitioning servicemembers, and active-duty military spouses in their transition to a career in the private or public sector. Interns will engage in on-the-job training and professional development in various fields including information technology, technical/systems consulting, technical support, facilities, finance, human resources, logistics, marketing, sales, and customer support.

Responsibilities

  • Support a team of Product Managers that acts as the central resource and driving force for the conception, design, and launch of Oracle Health products and solutions.
  • Gain an understanding of healthcare providers, payers, patients, and healthcare organizations, along with the healthcare technology market and competitive landscape, to drive product adoption and customer success.
  • Support product definition from vision to roadmap and detailed product requirements for healthcare-focused solutions and experiences.
  • Influence engineering teams to invest and iterate on features that improve clinical workflows, operational efficiency, interoperability, and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather customer requirements, define user stories and acceptance criteria, and support agile product delivery.
  • Track product metrics, customer feedback, adoption trends, and support data to identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Exposure to Healthcare and Technology is desired.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience building value propositions, messaging, and guidance for customers, users, and other stakeholders.

Benefits

  • Hourly wage is $30 per hour.
  • This is a 40 hour per week position.
  • Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only.
  • US: Hiring Range in USD from $19.09 - $36.35 per hour; from: $39,700 - $75,600 per year.
  • Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
  • Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

    • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

    • Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
