About the role
SAIC is seeking an Engineering Technician V to support the U.S. Marine Corps PMAAA ACV-30 30mm program at Camp Pendleton and 29 Palms in California.
Responsibilities
- System testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance during test and live fire operations.
- Writing reports, tracking assets, coordinating shipments, providing on-site training, and briefing customers on status.
- Being responsible for compliance and understanding of the U.S. Marine Corps policies and procedures for proper maintenance and support of the 30mm weapon system.
- Maintain schedules, track inspections, provide data on part usage and provide status reports of weapons maintenance, and trend analysis.
Requirements
- Associates degree in related discipline and nine (9) years of related experience or high school equivalent and eleven (11) years related experience with related certification.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance; Interim Secret needed to start.
- Experience using and providing measurements with precision measuring tools.
- Able to read and understand technical and source data from manufacturer.
- Proactive self-starter, able to move independently and engage with Marines and contractors.
- Confidently uphold standards and protect system integrity.
Qualifications
- Intermediate skill set with Microsoft Office.
- Able to travel up to 50% of the time.
Pay
Target salary range $80,001 - $120,000.
