SAP Solutions Architect :: Remote :: Hot Requirement

Location: Remote | Position Type: W2/Fulltime | Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and others authorized to work in the U.S. are preferred.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Solutions Architect to design and drive the overall enterprise SAP solution blueprint, ensuring that SAP modules, business processes, integrations, and cloud technologies work together securely and effectively. The ideal candidate will have 10–15+ years of SAP experience, with multiple end-to-end SAP implementations and strong expertise in SAP Finance. The candidate should be able to understand business requirements, assess existing solutions, identify gaps and opportunities, and develop scalable end-to-end solutions rather than focusing on individual SAP modules in isolation. Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly preferred, although candidates with significant SAP ECC experience will also be considered. Experience in large, complex organizations is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the end-to-end SAP enterprise solution architecture and blueprint.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and integrated SAP solutions.
• Evaluate existing SAP systems and business processes and recommend improvements, modernization, or optimization opportunities.
• Provide an end-to-end architectural view across SAP modules, integrations, cloud platforms, and surrounding enterprise applications.
• Lead solution design activities for SAP Finance and related business processes.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, technical teams, and leadership to understand requirements and define appropriate solutions.
• Ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture, security, integration, performance, scalability, and long-term technology strategy.
• Provide architectural guidance to functional and technical teams throughout implementation and delivery.
• Review solution designs, functional specifications, technical specifications, and integration approaches.
• Conduct appropriate research and development (R&D) to evaluate SAP capabilities, new technologies, and potential solution approaches.
• Complete or guide the development of solution specifications and provide direction to delivery teams.
• Identify risks, dependencies, integration challenges, and opportunities for simplification across the SAP landscape.
• Support multiple SAP implementations and provide architectural leadership from design through deployment.

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of overall SAP experience.
• Experience with multiple SAP implementations, preferably including full lifecycle/end-to-end implementations.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA or substantial SAP ECC experience.
• Strong SAP Finance background, including experience with:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Fixed Assets (FA)
  • Project Systems (PS)
• Candidates should have strong expertise in at least two of the core Finance areas, with particular preference for candidates covering GL/AR or AP/FA, while broader Finance coverage is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to understand business requirements and convert them into practical SAP solutions.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and enterprise architecture, rather than siloed module expertise.
• Experience working across functional and technical teams.
• Strong solution-design and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to conduct R&D, evaluate alternative approaches, and guide teams toward the appropriate solution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the confidence to interact with business stakeholders, technical teams, and senior leadership.
